I think there's a lot of lurkers that agree with you.

Regardless, congrats to Cubs fans. It's been a long time since you been in a WS.

I'm rooting for Miller in the WS, though. 1948 is a really long time- I don't know of a single Indian fans that was actually old enough to remember that WS. So, I realize the Cubs are not the only team with fans not being able to remember their last championship.

The atmosphere in Wrigley Field is like they already won the WS.

We are spoiled. This is something fans in Chicago haven't experienced in literally their entire lives. I don't blame them. I'll be curious how they will feel this winter if they lose the world series. It's one curse down but another one still lingering.

    Too true.

Missed the whole game, sounds like it was a good one. Oh well, how often do I get to eat dinner out with a friend? I can watch the Cubs win the National League pennant any time ... oh wait.

I was just describing the moment. They actually had a great crowd, inside and outside of Wrigley. The fans were jubilant but surprisingly peaceful. Good for them!

A-Gon, Alou, Baker and the rest of that mentally weak team share much more blame than Bartman.

In fact, that city's treatment of him is one of the reasons I am rooting for the Indians in the WS.

I'd like to root for Miller and the tribe, but I feel for longtime Cubs fans, none of which can recall the last title. Go Cubbies!
    Let the kids play.
