If they ask who was our star, give them 25 names, and if you forget our names, just tell them we were Yankees.

Cubs up 1-0 with no outs.

ANOTHER crazy third base coach waving a runner home who has no chance. Gonzalez out at plate. Still 1-0.

    Dejavu for Nats last game.

LA blows a chance on a single by Maeda. Probably the 2nd worst send in the 2016 playoffs with Gonzalez being thrown out at home.

There was a good camera angle on that play where Zobrist threw out AG. You could see how Gonzalez seemed to hesitate twice to make sure neither infielder caught the ball. With 2 outs, there was no reason to hesitate. By the game he got to 3b, he was too far behind. I'd like to see another replay on that.

I was also frustrated watching AG refusing to take 2b when Lester was unwilling to throw to 1b to keep him honest.

    Still a horrible send, regardless.

So ... first steal of home in the postseason by a Cub since 1907, what, what!

For the first time I'm actually believing this might be the Cubs year.

    Ughh. Baez.

This is going to be a brutal inning.

Additional comment about AG thrown out at home....

    http://m.mlb.com/news/article/206224...-home-by-cubs/

There's the replay. Looked like AGon wasn't hesitating, he just got a really slow start for some reason. With 2 outs. And Zobrist was playing very shallow because a pitcher was batting.

    Again, still a bad send.

I missed it originally as I was flipping through other games. Here's the clip: http://m.mlb.com/news/article/206227...n-nlcs-game-1/

I was hoping that it was a classic Jackie Robinson type of steal. But a steal is a steal.

Lester is pinch hit for in the sixth, after six innings of one-run, four-hit ball.

Wow. Chapman in in the eighth, with the bases loaded and nobody out. All those pitching changes so far haven't worked out so well for the Cubs ... maybe should have stuck with Lester a little longer?

    Chapman is no Miller

A two out, two run single by Gonzalez, and the game is tied.

Adrian Gonzalez is still the gem of that Dodgers Red Sox trade.

Red Sox shed salary, Dodgers got a long lasting All Star. A lot thought the Dodgers helped the Sox out. Really the Dodgers won that trade.

NL strategy at its best right here. This is going to be interesting.
