    ALCS - Toronto vs Cleveland

I am taking Cleveland in 6.
If they ask who was our star, give them 25 names, and if you forget our names, just tell them we were Yankees.

I think Toronto takes this series fairly easily. Their hitters have owned Miller.

    Jays in 6.

It will come down to whether the Indians can hit Toronto SP.

I would have liked Cleveland's chances more if Salazar and Carrasco were healthy.

Should still be a good series but I give the edge to Toronto.

Cleveland and Toronto. What a snoozefest.

Re: ALCS - Toronto vs Cleveland

Gotta go with the Jays. The Tribe's loss of their 2 and 3 starters is too much to overcome.

If the Jays win tonight (against Kluber), this could be a very short series.

Rooting for the Indians but I don't think they have enough pitching with those starters out of action... unless they pitch Miller 2-3 innings every game.

I love how Francona uses Miller -- bring him in for the 5th and 6th!

It's not if, but when Toronto breaks through. At least 2 guys on base every inning.

Refsnyder, Hicks, McCann, and Castro and $10 million for Kipnis.

Miller was filthy. Man, he was a very good signing by Cash.

Miller had Encarnacion losing his mind.

Again, he is unhittable when he is on. My friends, who are Indians fans, love him. They're not concerned about the future of Frazier/Sheff, they just see how relaxing it is to have Miller on the mound for them.

Miller Ks Encarnacion and Bautista with a man on first ... Martin up.

Miller just struck out Batista on a nasty pitch.

He K'ed 4 of the 5 hitters he faced, as per the announcer.

What'd we get for him again? They'd better be very, very good.

Remember how relaxed we were in the GT's when Miller was on the mound?

What a contrast to when Betances replaced him!

    And he Ks the side!

You have to hope the Indians and the Cubs make it to the WS ... just so we can see Miller vs. Chapman. Though, unless Tito changes his strategy, we won't see 'em pitch in the same inning.

I always ask myself the same question when he pitches!

Frazier and Sheffield. I don't count Heller as a significant part of the deal after watching him pitch.

Whenever ojo posts, I'm reminded to be patient and wait for Frazier.

Lets Rivera's replacement walk after a great year AND gets a draft pick, signs Miller who is better and cheaper.

Man, I was for the trade, so Frazier or Sheffield better be good, but this guy is awesome. Kind of wish he was still a Yankee.

I'm still hoping for Chapman to be resigned.

My friends, who are Yankees haters, always remind me on how spoiled we have been with closers. We haven't had to worry about the position since....sometime in the early 90's, I'm guessing?

Kipnis seems like a name that Beavis would have liked to say out loud and laugh about for no good reason.
