Kind of blanked that out. I was glad the Giants didn't win. But couldn't stand the Angels either at the time.

Good start for the SF Giants.

The spark plug of Game 3, Denard Span had a leadoff double. Brandon Belt flied out to center, moving Span to third.

Buster Posey hit a sacrifice fly to bring home Span.

Just walked in the door to see that. Happy time.

    Anyone still watching?

It's now 3-2 SF in the fifth, and the Giants are looking like scoring some more.

    4-2 Giants..still a chance of a big inning here.

Watching the Cubs lose their season at home, would be amazing.

I have it on, trying to take care of some things with it in the background. So tired of the Giants - they are like the NL version of the Red Sox and Blue Jays to me.

And really disappointed in the Cubs. I can honestly say that if one of the Indians, Cubs or Dodgers don't make it to the World Series, I probably won't watch it for the first time since 2005 when I was in Korea.

Unless you are from the Bay Area rooting against the Cubs is just wrong.

If it comes down to the Dodgers and Cubs, and that's a big IF, I have an obligation to openly root for the Dodgers to keep peace in the family. But I won't be upset about the Cubs winning.

No, but 2002- first year of the monkey - was my first semester in college and I had the joy of having my dorm room completely decorated with monkeys by my roommates after that series. Jerks

Closing a game for the Giants is an tortuous adventure.

Derek Law and Javier Lopez failed to get an out.

Sergio Romo is in with 2 on and nobody out.

The Cubs have the go-ahead run at the plate.

Three relievers used for Bruce Bochy and nobody got an out.

Oh my goodness gracious me. We are level!

Wilson Contreras with a two-run single to make 5-5 and still nobody out.

Oh my goodness, what a clutch hit. I look at what Theo Epstein has done for the Red Sox and the Cubs, and I weep at the coffee boy we got running the show in the Bronx

That Heyward bunt fiasco just brought back an awful flashback of Womack in 2001. A collapse in the making...

Brandon Crawford is going to have nightmares if the Giants lose tonight.

Will Smith got an out at second, but Crawford threw it away after Jason Heyward bunted.

    Now, Hunter Strickland is in.

Not ideal, but end result is what they wanted!

Taking the lead would be sweet.

These two teams seem to deserve each other ... Can they both lose?

Now Chicago has a 6-5 lead ... and it'll be up to guess who to close it?
