Yeah I figure Boston's going to start hitting, although whatever sign stealing shenanigans the RS are up to might be limited b/c of Tito.

This game starts out good, misplayed popup blown back into fair territory to Bogey.

Keep it going Cleveland. But run out of the box for cryin' out loud.

If Boston wins tonight, I might put down on a bet on them for the series, too. Not that I want them to win, because I don't.

But Cleveland has pitching issues and Boston has good bats- not a good combo. Oh, and also that part about Cleveland not being able to close 'em out in the past.

It wasn't a homerun that put them up 2-0, but I couldn't resist.

Actually, as much as I'm rooting for Boston to lose, I want to follow their blueprint.

They played Hicks Jr, Xander, Mookie. They weren't overly impressive as a group and the following season they came into their own. I hope that happens with Judge, Bird, Austin, Severino.

Cleveland is 67-1 when leading by 3 runs.

Oh, and they've got our beloved Miller, who I'm assuming is available tonight.

I've been thinking of you on Saturdays when they flash the Notre Dame scores. Based on your handle, I assume you're a fan. Rough start.

If not, then I guess you like to start a lot of bar fights.

    Hey BB55,

Do you think the Big XII gets left out of the playoffs because Washington will run the table?

I think the Pac 12 gets left out because Washington will lose a game- probably to USC. And nobody else in the Pac 12 is worthy of the playoffs.

    (sorry for the hijack)

Me too. When I get sick of Sterling, I turn it to the Chicago game for a reality check.

Ortiz up in a big spot. Please get him out.

I will take that. Announcers must be standing up in the booth admiring a picture if Ortiz or something. I heard "Big Papi" more times in 30 seconds than I did the entire year.

    4-2 Cleveland.

If/when kicks the Fenway crowd into a sobbing oblivion tonight, I can only hope that they then beat the Blue Jays.
