    ALDS - Texas vs. Toronto

Game 1 Underway. Bottom 3rd and its 5-0 Blue Jays.
If they ask who was our star, give them 25 names, and if you forget our names, just tell them we were Yankees.

I got over to the pub, sat down and looked up at the tv: 7-0. At least the $7.00 IPAs are cold!

    They're all terrible people.
2016 - At least we won as many postseason games as the Red Sox

Imagine if the Yankees won the Darvish sweepstakes and he was pitching like this in the post season.....
I cannot imagine the amount of venom that would be spewed in his direction for the fan base...

It seems Texas can't do anything right when playoff time comes around.

They've got Carlos Beltran now. Always thought he's cursed. He's been in the postseason with 5 different teams and has never won.

He struck out today in a big spot. But, despite his teams not winning, he usually does well in the postseason.

Ever since Texas was 1 strike away (twice) from winning it all in 2011, they have found ways to lose.

That game forever made me appreciate the concept of late inning defensive replacements.

And when you add the 2012 AL Wild Card Game loss to the Orioles, that's 1-12 for the Texas Rangers in both the AL Wild Card Game and the ALDS. Yikes!

The Texas Rangers finally have a lead in the series thanks to an RBI groundout from Carlos Beltran as they led 1-0 after the top half of the first.

But the Toronto Blue Jays answered with three in the bottom of first.

Edwin Encarnacion with a two-run bomb and Russell Martin followed with a solo shot.

Picked up right where they left off.

Hoping Cleveland can put Boston away tomorrow and has something for Toronto.

After a two-run shot by Rougned Odor in the top of the fourth inning, it's now 5-4 Blue Jays, going to the fifth.

I hope Texas can come back and win this one.

Texas re-takes the lead 6-5. Mitch Moreland with a two-run opposite field double.

And another choke on a wild pitch or passed ball. Tie game.

Mazara makes a nice catch for the 3rd out.

The Blue Jays will have a chance for their fifth career walkoff postseason win.

Edwin Encarnacion, Joe Carter, Al Oliver and Candy Maldonado were the four postseason walkoff heroes in Blue Jays history.

For Bow-tista to strike out there is satisfying. Even if the ultimate outcome isn't
