Re: Game of Thrones Season 6

I just noticed the episode was really short (about 46 minutes) at the same time they crammed in all those storylines. Sounds like they may have kinda made a boner of an episode. And it was still pretty damn good anyway.

Not set in stone. Probably for the better. You don't wanna ruin it by dragging it out until we want it over.
They also don't want to go overbudget

They didn't explain how Reek and Sansa survived the suicide jump without any injuries when he threw the other chick over a lower drop and she died.

last season, one of the GOT podcasts had a bunch of russians explain how that jump was very survivable.

i know they simply cannot film more than 10 episode a year. they work pretty much 50 weeks of the year with final edits occurring a week or so from the first airing.

as for not wanting to drag it out, i honestly don't feel they have or are. this is season six. i feel as though there could be 30 more episode including this season.

clearly, they're thinking slightly less. don't have an issue with that at all. less is usually more for me. with the books in an unknown place, i completely understand their thinking.

I think in episode 3 "Oathbreaker" Brienne will once again break her oath and Sansa will get killed. But, she will be resurrected as Lady Stoneheart in replace to Lady Catlyn.

"Ive never been much of a fighter. Apologies for what you're about to see"

Between Bran, Ramsay, the conflict at the Wall, Tyrion and the dragons and obviously the grand slam at the end with Jon it was just incredible. They've been stuffing too much into one episode in these two but this one paid off. Over and over again.

My only worry is that GRRM giveth and he taketh away so much more. Something really bad is going to happen. Aside from the whole baby killing thing that took place earlier.

Either way, Jon died. His watch ended. He's released from his vows. There has to be something to that.

Edit: Note, the show has now moved past the books at this point for many of the stories. Aside from Bran and The Ironborn, and some things they haven't even touched on yet, all these things tonight are completely new. So the theories are rampant. And I've had my own, and I also believe in R+L=J. You're all caught up. It's about time you learned it!

Oh and on a side note I can't wait to see what the GoT protesters have to say about poor little Lord Bolton's fate tonight.

God, Bolton totally deserve that for the Red Wedding.

I was really hoping the traitorous little kid who was Snow's right hand is killed one way or another. First, it was Ygritte then Snow.

I can't say who's worse Joffrey or Ramsay. But it looks like Ramsay is winning that.

And I have no idea if it's just me but what happened to the actor playing Bran. He seems to have aged. Last season he looks much younger now he looks like he's aged considerably.

I tend to respect a well written and acted villain. Ramsay is one this show deserves. Between him and the Knight's King we are so far advanced from Joffrey's reign of bitchiness.

actually Bran's character missed an entire season so he's aged a bunch since his last appearance. They decided to not include him last year for whatever dumb reason.

He's definitely the villain you love to hate. Incredible actor. But with the way they killed Joffrey he'll probably die (just taking a wild guess here) similarly, slow and painful.

I do not even recall not seeing Bran last season gonna rewatch season five again.

I also love the scene with Davos and his loyal soldiers. Their loyalty with Snow against all odds till death is endearing.

When Game of Thrones is finish I don't know how they're gonna top it. Maybe HBO has something up their sleeves. Or perhaps it's the prequel to the Game of Thrones that GRRM suggested they can use.

its all over social media. I don't feel sorry if that's how they find out. It's one of the biggest tv shows on the planet you have to use some degree of discipline until you see it.

they should do The First Law trilogy next. That will smash and cater to the same audience.
