Agreed. I was saying it as long as the team doesn't change his role.

    Just asking.
I agree with Melancynic. Judge seems to be a solid OFer, with a RFers arm. He can even play CF, although that is not his long-term spot.1B for Judge is a waste, and may indeed mess with his mind a bit, just when he needs to learn how to lay off the outside breaking stuff.

I talked to Austin DeCarr last night about his rehab. Will be writing up a short post on it in the next couple days. I also had the chance to talk to Chance Adams as well, will let you guys know the outcome of that soon.

Later this week I will be talking with Jeff Degano as well.

Wonder why Chance Adams did not get a ST invite.

He strikes me as a guy who will fly up the ranks this year, and be on that Scranton-Bronx shuttle. If that is the case, you would think the brass would like to see him a few times before the season, just to see what they have.

I swear. Baseball America hates the Yankees. I know we aren't the top, but 17th? Reading their comments about over the years they can be pretty snarky.....

It was a no-brainer that the Yankees farm was going to take a big hit in the rankings with Bird/Severino losing their prospect eligibility and with trading Jageilo/Davis away.

I'm happy to see Lane Adams has been sent to SWB. Good move being we can keep him and retain the 40 man spot.

Forgive my ignorance, but Adams' numbers for 2014 & 2015 look very good - is the Texas league considered to be "hitter-friendly"?

Looks like he strikes out a lot, but he has about a .350 OBP & steals lots of bases.

He looked like he was coming into his own at AA, but stumbled after his AAA promotion. I think starting him at AAA is a good move, although that outfield is already pretty crowded considering Hicks and Ackley are locks at the ML level. But yeah, he's 6'4 190 lbs with some speed. Has played all 3 outfield positions, not sure how is overall D rates out, though.
