Has Downey done any actual acting since he's been clean? That might be interesting to see.

In his defense, he's very strong.

Anyone without superpowers should not be in a head on fight with intergalactic creatures or monsters. They should utilize them differently - like have her use her stealth or something to disable a tractor beam, etc......

Quentin Tarantino’s “Star Trek” is developing fast at Paramount. Deadline reported earlier this week that Tarantino had successfully pitched an idea for a new “Trek” film to producer J.J. Abrams and Paramount, and now it has been revealed that both parties have agreed to Tarantino’s request that the movie be rated R

    Gave me all the feels.

Also, such a beautifully rendered movie. The colors and backgrounds were amazing.
Could have done without the full on episode of TV before it though.

I seriously cried at the end. The story, animation, writing...all stunning. I also love that it introduced Dia de Muertos to an American audience. It's a really beautiful piece of Mexican culture.

Where'd you see it? Is it available on Netflix or HBO or something? I've been waiting for that to be available somewhere.

    It's on HBOGo right now.

This weekend I watched Lawrence of Arabia for the first time. Going out on a limb here, but what an amazing piece of film making. I would love to see it on a big screen as the sweeping shots of the landscape and armies must look amazing in full view. I will say the first half was much better than the 2nd. It kind of fizzled out at the end, and yes I know it's based on a true story, but the whole end in Damascus just felt underwhelming.

I dvr'ed it off one of the HBO channels.

Also, saw The Shape of Water last night. Loved the movie. I hate people who go to movie theaters - not all of them, of course, just the rude and stupid ones.

I'm waiting to see it with my son, so I've been treading very lightly on social media. I buried all my Star Wars likes and movie pages to avoid spoilers. And I haven't looked at Twitter since Thursday.

I'm going to pick him up from school one day this week and catch it. It'll be my 3rd Star Wars movie with him! So much pride.

My youngest son has already seen it twice. He went with friends at an IMAX showing the second time.

See the thing about me never actually growing up pays off with stuff like this anytime anything comic book (age appropriate) or Star Wars comes out we have a pact. When we saw Lego Batman, the two of us laughed for 90 minutes non stop.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at some of the newer director's hall theaters now. They literally have recliners now!
