Which model do you have and love? I'm looking at Sharks. I'd like a Dyson, but they're out of my price range. I don't want to spend more than $200.
$200 will get you a fancy broom and scooper..............

I gotta be honest when I first saw this thread title, based on your history I assumed you were the author and had to look twice when I noticed it wasn't.

I wonder if you can use a vacuum to make anything edible?

    Not really. This isn't Canada.

    I got this:

    http://www.walmart.com/ip/Hoover-Hig...72600/22904050

It works great, and was in my price range. It's a thousand times better than the super cheap, old Bissell that recently broke.

Not to threadjack, and this is not a vacuum cleaner though it's in the same family.

I am pondering getting one of these. Thoughts?

We own one of those (or similar Shark model), it has been used at most twice and generally just sits in our closet taking up space.

A lot of carpet cleaners also do floors, so you may want to go that route instead.

I have the same one and have to agree with you. I've had more expensive vacuums and like this one better.

It's a really pretty color, too.

I paid $19 for a 3-year replacement warranty, just in case something goes wrong. It seems quite sturdy, though. I hate shopping at Walmart (and refuse to go there for groceries), but it's close. I didn't want to drive 30 minutes or more for a vacuum cleaner.

I almost bought this one, after a few friends said they have it and love it. Glad I didn't spend the extra cash. The Hoover works very well.

I inherited a Shark vacuum. Not sure of the model but it's really great. Never loses suction is very light weight and it fits under things.

Extremely. The only knock I can give it is emptying the canister. When I take it off the rest if the vacuum falls over. I can rest it anywhere and have it stand upright. But as far as vacuums go it's probably the best at its job as any.

Yes this is quite a bump. I can't believe I had that much to say about a vacuum.
