Work. It's kind of nice because our client takes off on bank holidays, so it's a good day to catch up without being pestered. The traffic was great as well.

I'd rather have the day off though.

    Me?
Well, I had to work (albeit, from home). Then I watched several episodes of John Adams on HBO. I didn't buy a car or carpeting or a new mattress or anything though. Is that bad of me?

I had to work. It sucked. I didn't buy new carpet either. I think you're forgiven.

I enjoyed the lighter than normal traffic, then complained about people who weren't working. Complaining makes me happy.

I decided to punt on winter, even though it looks as though it has decided to bail on its own. My daughter has a month of maternity leave yet to go (she works from home and her employer just extends the leave) and she is going crazy in the apartment with the baby. So I'm taking her and my granddaughter to the beach. Back to Brazil tomorrow. I'll be back here when it's Spring--just after Opening Day.

What kind of car did he get? I love the new car smell.

That's terrific! Care to share details? What ports, ship name etc.? We have one of these on the bucket list but it's at least 5 years out.
    Let the kids play.
