Yes! Dipping fries in mustard is no different than slathering a knish with mustard (the only way to have one).

These days, I prefer plain yellow mustard to any of the fancy variety. Love the tang and takes me back to my childhood.

To you'ze peoplez with yer non-conforming wayz, here are da rules:

    CATSUP/KETCHUP:
    Hamburgers
    Freedom Fries
    Onion Rings

There are no other possible uses for catsup/ketchup, than as stated directly above.

    MUSTARD:
    Hot Dibbity Dobs
    Tater Knishes
Meat Sandwiches, such as grilled chicken, corned beef, pastrami, etc.

I use the spicy brown mustard for hot dobs and tater knishes. For meat sandwiches, I use either this or honey mustard. I have no use for the bright yellow mustard (whose only purpose in life is to irreparably stain my dress shirts).

Is a corn dob a sandwich? Currently I'm enjoying one with ketchup (die mad about it, muggs) and dill pickles.

Seriously? Of course a corn dob is not a sandwich, and itís perfectly acceptable to put ketchup on it.

I had my annual corndog with honey mustard this year. It was great!

It took you over a month to respond to that?

It's still bread and I'll fight you.

It took me a month just to see that speck of insignificance.

You are simply wrong. Itís not bread. Corn bread is a different thing. By your definition, anything thatís batter-fried is a sandwich.

A sandwich? I'm not convinced that a corn dob actually classifies as food.

What are you talking about? Corn Dobs are the main dish at every county fair. They go great with sides of Bloomin Onions and Deep Fried Pickles.

I tried one of those this year. Surprisingly good! I couldn't do the deep fried butter stick though.

I had a deep-fried Twinkie at the Minnesota State Fair years ago. It was excellent. So were the fried cheese curds. The deep-fried macaroni-and-cheese on a stick was a big disappointment, though.

According to Jenn's definition, I guess a Twinkie is a sandwich.

Only if you put it on a hot dob roll.

Anything with a cream filling cannot possibly qualify as a sandwich. Also, a Twinkie is not bread.

A soft, creamy filling does not qualify as a sandwich, any more than a buttered roll qualifies as a sandwich. It has to have at least SOMETHING of substance between the slices or roll. Like lettuce, tomato, a hot dob, turkey, bacon, cheese, etc.
