Last night, I couldn't get in from home. Others on facebook reported that it was working fine. What's going on?
I wish there was a way to mark a specific thread as "read" without having to actually read it.
I know that tables can be added to posts, does anyone have a reference for the right tags to use?
So what do we all think of the new layout of the site? So far I like it, although it will take a while to get use to it. The only thing I've noticed is that pictures and links in our signatures show up with the codes around it, or no photo at all.
"Yankswn23" brought this up in another thread, and I think its a good idea. Could you make a subforum where we can post our own made art? I think we could really put good use to it, and it wouldn't take up space in Out of play or anywhere else its being posted. (Art meaning wallpapers, sig pics, avatars etc. dedicated to Yankees or sports or whatever.) Of course inappropriate "art" wouldn't be allowed. Just wondering. :)
I am not spammer. I'm not paid to be a spammer. I am paid to wreak havoc on the NYY Forums. Ok all joking aside, any way around this 6 month thread freeze. How about a pic of me 31 years ago in my yankee pj's? 6 Months seems a bit excessive no?
Are there any notifications when I am quoted?? If not its pretty tough to follow whats goin on.
OK, so I am very confused on several things with this board and wanted to know if there is a link or perhaps in somebody may answer and sticky this.
1) I do not know why I cannot:
-Start a thread, PM, have a Jpeg in my signature, and have no post count
2) I do not know how long I need to be here or how many posts I need to have these privileges
3) I also do not know why I have no post count and where posts are counted.
I was just wondering why I could not start a thread? Am I not allowed to or is there some other reason. Just want to know if there was a problem on my end and if so what can I do.
Can this be moved to the opposite side of the page?
Where it is now forces each page to kind of indent itself after it loads.
I know I've brought this up before but I think it needs more attention so I'll bring it up again.
This is what I see at the bottom of my PM inbox, as I check to see how many messages I have stored:
Not only does this information need to change colors, it needs to be moved to the top of the inbox, from the bottom, so that it's easier to see.
It'll help people keep their quota of 150 messages easier.
i know there used to be a hot stove area where trades & rumors went I cant find it anywhere can some one direct me to where it is now?
Can one of the mods please merge Brad's two birthday topics? As wonderful as he is, he doesn't need two. :D
You will see the option to switch to the mobile-optimized style in the dropdown at the bottom of the screen.
I'm posting this from my Droid.
Hey I know i'm new to ths forum, and the site does look great but if I may make a suggiestion, how about installing a NYYF Chat room on the site? I think it would be a great way for all of us to interact on game days, and to help the out of towners like me with LIVE updates, or for the times i do get a YES broadcast on MLBN to provide real-time predictions, what I'd do in this situation etc. Thoughts?
Now I need to use it in order to make a new paragraph, since the regular "Enter" key doesn't do it any more.
I didn't need this earlier in the week, so why do I need to do this now? I'm using the "NYYF Default", from the lower left hand of the main page.
Any chance I can get access reinstated to the game threads? I think it's been about a year now...
When will I be able to create threads in all of the forums?
When you post in the ''game thread forum'' does it count twoards your post count? I thought it didnt but the past few days it has... Also somehow I have like 100 more posts than I should have but thats ok with me:)
