I just saw that Erik Kratz is 40. I knew he was old by MLB standards, but I didn't know he was that old. He made his MLB had 30 years and 32 days old, and he's played for nine teams. He's played for the Yankees and both Pennsylvania teams nonconsecutively, meaning that he's changed teams 11 times, and that doesn't include changing organizations while in the minors. Why isn’t he in the Hall Of Fame? He has close to 300 wins! Does he have too many losses?

If you want to see a great WS game between two great teams watch this one on the MLB network. Try counting the number of future hall of farmers including the announcers.....incredible number!

Terry Mulholland pitched for 11 teams, and he pitched for the other 10 after the Yankees, including San Francisco and Philadelphia before and after the Yankees. Octavio Dotel pitched for 13 teams, including 9 after the Yankees. Ron Villone pitched for 12 teams, with 9 of them before the Yankees.

I’m sure the Yanks are taking a break after inducting the Core 4 a few years back, but I’m still amazed at a bunch of legends still on the outside looking in: Hall of Famers: Just about all of the ones left that don’t fall into the category of “well he’s in for another franchise” like Dave Winfield and Rickey Henderson, are from the 1920s teams, so are they waiting on the Golden Anniversary for Waite Hoyt, Earle Combs and Herb Pennock to get Monument Park plaques added to their Cooperstown...

Boston's Brandon Workman went 10-1 (.909). In 2014, he went 1-10 (.091), for a gap of .818. Excluding seasons with only wins or only losses, do any other pitchers have that big a gap between their best and worst season winning percentages?

After Tampa Bay plays in Saturday, Tyler Glasnow will not have enough innings to qualify. Charlie Morton raised his ERA from 2.32 to 2.65, which moved Justin Verlander to second behind Glasnow in ERA, with Detroit's Spencer Turnbull in third. Verlander has a 2.38 ERA, and Turnbull has a 2.40 ERA. Turnbull is a rookie who went 0-2 in 16 1/3 innings last September. I'm not saying Turnbull will win it, but if he even leads at some point in May or later, that's surprising.
