Forum: Around The Minors

Who's coming up? Who's going down? What's happening with the Yankees Minor League clubs?

  1. Proctor throws 2 Ks in his first ST appearance..

I don't know if this game was on YES but I saw the box score and noticed Proctor threw 2Ks in 1 inning with no hits. Anyone see this game? Just wondering how he looked..

  14. Andy Phillips = Jim Leyritz ...

I hope the Yanks see fit to give Andy his shot.He could be another Jim Leyritz IMO.He can play all 4 infeild spots and can fill in the outfield.Andy has a good bat but just needs a chance.I hope we can see to it that this is the year he gets it.

As per the latest BA the Yanks have re signed David Sheppard a RHP who has strung some good years together but is a little to old to be a prospect. He does not lack of confidence thats for sure.David is a regular caller on the over nite on WFAN and he really believes in himself.I hope he gets a shot. The list also states the Yanks also gave up on another big lefty from last years draft Ben Scheinbaum along with OF Scott Rich,LHP Andy Beal,OF Jason Van Neetren,RHP's Francisco Villegas and Jeremy...

  18. Homer Bush? and Shane Spencer?

I admit I havn't kept following the Yankees the last couple of years as well as I wanted to; however I noticed that both Bush and Spencer play on the Clippers according to milb.sportsnetwork.com (which is the offical website of minor league baseball). Didn't the Yankees trade Bush to the Blue Jays for Roger, and didn't the Yankees trade Spencer away too (I can't remember where). But I see now they play for the Clippers. Does anyone know why they aren't in the majors anymore? (Please forgive my...
