  1. MLB The Show 2010 arrived

MLB The Show 2010 just arrived today. My neighbour signed for it. Can't wait to play it. I bought it last year based on the raving revues on this forum, so I guess there are people who bought the 2010 version too?

  7. Things I found in the washer/dryer

While doing laundry today, I found 2 chapsticks in the dryer. Thankfully, they somehow did not melt. It occurred to me that people probably find some interesting things people leave in their pockets. Usually, I check pockets first, but occasionally, I miss something. I have a change jar by the dryer, because I always find change. One time, I found a $20 bill in the back pocket of my pants. It wasn't even ruined. :)

  8. Kelly Preston pregnant at age 47

I suppose this may end up in the PS but I wondered what people thought of this. Personally I would have no intested in getting pregnant at age 47 but I'm assuming they may have wanted to have another child after losing their son. To me, having a baby at that age has tired written all over it but I'm sure they have nanny's, cooks etc so she won't be like most of us, having a child and working, keeping up a house, etc. http://www.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/05/27/late.pregnancy.risks/index.html

  9. Flash Forward (TV Show)

For anyone who didn't see the first episode, it's well worth a look. I haven't ever gotten chills from a TV show other than LOST like I did tonight. Awesome.

  10. Summer Vacation

Thanks to Ally for reminding me to start this thread! :) What is everyone doing for their summer vacation? It is the usual for me - a week in Montauk beginning July 9th. Staying at Gurney's Inn. Looking forward to hanging out at the beach and dining on delicious seafood.

  14. Baseball Uniforms

I saw a guy wearing a full baseball uniform in my office building today. Must have had a meeting with someone. It's amazing how completely weird a baseball uniform looks on someone who is not on a baseball field. This is my observation of the day.

  17. On prepositions and time

After the last failed attempt at this kind of survey, am I simply a glutton for punishment? Perhaps. Either way, this one is simpler. Again, I would greatly appreciate people's help with this. If you have nothing positive to offer, I ask that you keep it to yourself. Could people please give me their opinions on what times are designated by the following expressions? for example... If I say "10 after 5," most people understand that to mean "5:10." Don't overthink it..., and don't...
