  6. Man and Gorilla reunion

I'm a sucker for these types of videos and this one especially as I just adore gorillas: http://www.pawnation.com/2010/05/24/sweet-reunion-between-a-man-and-the-gorilla-he-raised-as-a-baby/?ncid=webmaildl3 A few years ago, someone posted a video on You Tube about the reunion (in the 70's, I think) of a lion and the men who had raised him since he was a cub............this is just as amazing.

  7. OMG! I'm Turning GREEN!

Hey folks. Just traded my beloved 2002 Dodge Quad Cab for a 2010 DQC (see dealer photo). The '02 had 167K miles on it, was still a great truck in excellent shape, but as I near retirement I wanted to get a new one to haul a small travel trailer. Anyway, in a weak moment, I decided to get the "Flex Fuel" version. FF isn't real big down here, but I understand that it is pretty easy to find in certain other parts of the country. And since they are building a large FF producing plant here in...

  12. Dyson Air Multiplier

These are very cool - spotted one in the store yesterday: http://www.dyson.com/fans/ Dyson's made a fan that ... doesn't have any blades. Just a big open circle. Of course I think they miscalculated as to what people would be willing to pay for this - they were on sale for $300. Unless it somehow kills mosquitoes at the same time, that seems way too much.

  14. Alaska Cruise Trip, Here I Come

Hello everyone, Well, I just got another vacation. This time, I'm going on an Alaskan cruise and spending a few days in Vancouver, BC. Unfortunately, I'll miss the Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains finale. I'll watch it from my room at the cruise ship, but I won't post from the ship (Damn fees). Yes, I'll watch sports highlights in my room or at a sports bar on the ship.

  15. Does this scare the heck out of you?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100520/ap_on_sc/us_sci_synthetic_cell Let's keep the discussion scientific, OK? Scares the carp out of me, TBH. The technology works, and they insert Cell A DNA into Cell B, and it goes beserk, for example

  19. Poll: Where do you keep the ketchup and mustard?

I just read something recently about someone having a major pet peeve over people putting the ketchup and mustard in the fridge, therefore, putting cold ketchup and mustard on a perfectly warm hamburg or hot dog. I never even thought about it but he's right. It doesn't need to be refrigerated and it would certainly make some room in the fridge.
