I know I have waited this long already and his numbers are likely to decline. But, I am starting Randy Winn and Gary Matthews Jr.
Ok, gentlemen, the hardest part of getting our league together is behind us! With the completion of the actual auction we are good to go for the season.
I applaud everyone for making the time and working it out to make sure that they were involved.
It is VERY difficult to get 13 teams in a league where no one has a real inherent comitment to being there. All of you guys went out of your way to help get this up and running, and for that we should all be thankful.
But he does not exist in our player pool.
Can he be created so I can receive credit for today's start?
I will be dropping Pollitte for him.

For some reason, I still have all the players I traded away...
I was strolling along, singing my song, back in first place where I belong.
why are the overall standings only showing this week's results?
Wow! We have reached the All-Star break. The season is just flying by! We have some buyers and sellers. Some teams looking to make a run for the title, while others are securing sleepers for next year.
Should make for a very interesting second half. 6 teams are within 20 points of each other a the top.
Questions to be answered in the second half:
1) How good is team GHR714?
2) Can the Knights regain the top spot?
3) Will Team JackeUp ever reach its full potential and make a run?...
The Corporation continued rebuilding for next year by trading Albert Pujols and his 47 dollar salary to JUEB23 for Gary Sheffield and promisoning young fireballer Scott Olsen.
Outlook- The moves of today have netted young and enormously talented players such as the aforementioned robinson cano, bj upton, and now ScottOlsen. In the process, The corporation was able to obtain the services of Aaron Hill, of the Toronto Blue jays. The future is bright for The Corporation, as the young guns join...
I am seriously hurting for power and rbi's. Anyone interested in anything I have can make proposals.
The Sycamore Style has completely and totally given up on 2005. In fact, the Style's season was over just after opening day.
However, by trading a high-priced veteran superstar for some younger talent, the future looks VERY bright for them! Lots of Young, relatively cheap talent to build around!
So here's my proposition.... My staff is open season. You give me a heavy hitter in return and I'm willing to do a 2 for 1 deal with pretty much anyone on the staff. Benson and Zito are two I'm looking to keep so I might be less likely to trade them away.
I need help with AVG and SB.
So if anyone is interested, let me know. If it comes down to me having to trade a position player as well, I will consider it. No one except Wright is really off limits.
(At least let's be in the right week! :D)
Damn...after being healthy for most of the season -- really only Benitez on the DL -- I'm now at 6 players on the DL: Benitez, Cesar Izturis, Nick Johnson, Ryan Church, Erubiel Durazo and Adam Eaton.
Like I said all year, I doubt by good luck will last... :( :-po'd-:
Lets go JV! One good start, and then I reserve you!
I had to put Nick Johnson on the DL and pick up a FA. They system told me I had too many players -- 33 -- and the maximum was 32. (I had 23 active, 4 DL and 5 minors). So I dropped Durazo, with a salary of $4.
However, checking the rules:
That is right folks. The league is shaping of very nicely and very balanced.
What a week for Team JackedUpEyeBlack23! Only to be outdone by their most bitter rival and despised GM Team GHR 714 owned Week 11.
Should be a great week as Striking Back, GHR 714, JackedUp, and yes... The Corporation all within striking distance of the New York Knight's streak.
Anybody out there?
Any team any player feel free to talk some smack, mine are:
Peavy-$28 (Way too much for the stats he's putting up)
Guerrero-$47 (Abreu was a much better pick)
excluding Mota because of the mistake.
Might as well start this week off with a bang!
Who was it that had Mota projected at 35+ saves in the auction, justifying the $14 price tag?
Well, I see GHR714 picked up Kolb. There goes his WHIP and ERA. ;)
After 3 straight negative weeks by the Knights, the top of the standings is closer than it's been in 5 weeks.
Hideki Matsui is now OFFICIALLY available, I'm hoping for a pitcher would like a <29 SP or CL, willing to take on higher salary, willing to involve more than one player. My untouchables are: Ryan, Sweeney, Inge, Cano, Estrada, Teixiera, Stewart, Kazmir, Blanton, Haren, Chacin. Everyone else can be considered available.
