  2. Sticky Thread Sticky: ATTENTION EVERYONE New Community Standards

Big news - our revised Community Standards are finally online. Please access them on the footer of the page, towards the right-hand edge..... The main point of differentiation between NYYFans and most other sports forums is the sense of community that has been fostered here, since our site was founded many years ago. In order to maintain this atmosphere, we must hold posters to certain basic expectations when participating here..... To this end, we will be conducting a relaunch of our...

  3. Sticky Thread Sticky: When Posting About the Yankees Management...

We tried to give everyone a little extra leeway the past week or so to allow everyone to vent, but now that things have calmed down a little I would just like to remind everyone that the community standards apply not just regarding posts about players or your fellow users, but also when you're posting about those in Yankees management. We encourage everyone to post their opinions freely, positive or negative, about the Yankees management or anything else, but please make sure to do so in an...

  4. Sticky Thread Sticky: If you're looking for Yankee tickets, check here first.

So you want to see the Yankees, ay? Are you frustrated by the lack of quality seats available from the Yankees Box Office or Ticketmaster, don't want to take out a second mortgage to buy from a broker, and don't trust buying from someone over the internet? If you answered yes to any of these questions (or even if you didn't!), I've got your solution! NYYFans.com has partnered with the Ticket Network to provide great seats for all budgets for every Yankee game (home or away). There is...

  2. Ticket strip refund?

I hate having to ask this, but does anyone know about when I should expect a refund for the postseason ticket strip? I remember people complaining it takes a long time?

  3. Piecing 2019 Schedule

On top of what we already know in the form of the london series vs Boston on June 29-30 Not much to go by as of yet but at least we can get an idea. According to this article https://www.sfchronicle.com/giants/article/Giants-Will-Smith-looking-for-a-green-light-to-13040510.php

  4. CC Sabathia

The Yankees announced several days ago that they had signed CC for the 2019 season. CC announced that he will retire after that season, his 19th in the ML's and his 11th with the Yankees. He's had a great run. It would be only fitting if the Yankees gave him a day and honored his career. Since his 39th birthday will be Sunday July 21 2019, and the Yankees will be playing the Rockies at home, I suggest that day to honor his fine career. Andy

  5. Craig Carton from Carton & Boomer

Is there a more sour, more pissy little crybaby girl on local sports radio than this dude? Jayson Stark meanderings aside, I kind of understand the whole Yankee-fans-reading-too-much-into-media-bias thing, but I don't believe I'm exaggerating when I say that I can turn on the radio at any given time in the a.m. and this Carton dude finds ways to spew some kind of downer Yankee propaganda into a conversation that started out having nothing even to do w/ the Yankees. We get it - you don't...

  6. Former Yankees announcer sent to prison

According to the Boston Globe, 71 year old former Yankees announcer Bob Gamere was sentenced to 5 years in prison on child pornography charges. Bob was a Yankees play-by-play man in 1970 on WHN. He was replaced after one season by Bill White.

  7. Surprise! Yankee Stadium parking lots are losing money, owe back taxes

Here's an article in today's New York Post about the parking lots around Yankee Stadium, which are losing money and owe back taxes. This is disturbing on many different levels, but I guess it's encouraging to see that many Yankee fans refuse to be screwed over and won't pay outrageous parking fees. We can only hope that this will lead to prices being lowered. It would be great if that would also work for Yankee game ticket prices - the ultimate power that fans have is the power to say NO!...

  8. Hank Greenwald: Former Yankee/SFGiant Radio Play-By-Player

https://nypost.com/2018/10/23/yankees-radio-voice-before-john-sterling-dies-at-age-83/ Just a heads up for Yankee fans who remember & dug the radio play-by-play of Hank Greenwald, and hadn't heard that he passed away this past Tuesday. Other than the real voice of the Yankees Mel Allen back in the day, Hank and radio color man Tommy Hutton were just about as good a baseball listen as you could ever hope for. If you're an adult who valued sincerity & authenticity over hype and trumped up...
