  2. Sticky Thread Sticky: If you're looking for Yankee tickets, check here first.

So you want to see the Yankees, ay? Are you frustrated by the lack of quality seats available from the Yankees Box Office or Ticketmaster, don't want to take out a second mortgage to buy from a broker, and don't trust buying from someone over the internet? If you answered yes to any of these questions (or even if you didn't!), I've got your solution! NYYFans.com has partnered with the Ticket Network to provide great seats for all budgets for every Yankee game (home or away). There is...

  3. Sticky Thread Sticky: ATTENTION EVERYONE – New Community Standards

Big news - our revised Community Standards are finally online. Please access them on the footer of the page, towards the right-hand edge..... The main point of differentiation between NYYFans and most other sports forums is the sense of community that has been fostered here, since our site was founded many years ago. In order to maintain this atmosphere, we must hold posters to certain basic expectations when participating here..... To this end, we will be conducting a relaunch of our...

  4. Sticky Thread Sticky: When Posting About the Yankees Management...

We tried to give everyone a little extra leeway the past week or so to allow everyone to vent, but now that things have calmed down a little I would just like to remind everyone that the community standards apply not just regarding posts about players or your fellow users, but also when you're posting about those in Yankees management. We encourage everyone to post their opinions freely, positive or negative, about the Yankees management or anything else, but please make sure to do so in an...

  1. RIP, Larry Gowell

Former Yankee Larry Gowell passed away this week. He played in two games in 1972. His claim to fame (from Wikipedia): On October 4, as a starting pitcher (again facing Milwaukee) Gowell hit a double on a 3–2 count, hitting a fastball by pitcher Jim Lonborg for his first and only Major League hit and the last hit by a pitcher in a regular season American League game before the start of the designated hitter rule. The baseball that Gowell hit now resides in the National Baseball Hall of...

  3. Re-opening scenarios

I keep reading about suggestions where they will eventually allow fans back in to the games in limited numbers and with social distancing space between fans. I feel sorry for the people who are going to have to design the plan for THAT. If they have sold 40,000 tickets for a game against the Red Sox, how do they decide who is allowed to attend and who is not? "OK, Jeter jersey and you have a little kid with you, you can come in. Boston hat, you're out." "You bought your ticket from...

  4. YoutubeTV/YES NETWORK

Hope everyone is staying healthy and safe out there! Does anyone happen to know if negotiations between the Yes Network and Youtubetv are ongoing or is it completely dead since they dropped the network on March 5? Im really hoping they get this worked out prior to the season if at all. Thanks, LETS GO YANKEES!

  5. MLB CoronaVirus Ticket Refunds

I was personally wondering about what would happen with my season tickets and being refunded for games not being played right now. Luckily I still have my job and income, but that’s not the case for everyone. Apparently MLB Policy as of right now is to not issue any refunds, considering the games postponed. Kind of messed up considering the situation, not to mention I really don’t want to be going to games scheduled for September in October or even November. Also with family members...
