  2. Sticky Thread Sticky: When Posting About the Yankees Management...

We tried to give everyone a little extra leeway the past week or so to allow everyone to vent, but now that things have calmed down a little I would just like to remind everyone that the community standards apply not just regarding posts about players or your fellow users, but also when you're posting about those in Yankees management. We encourage everyone to post their opinions freely, positive or negative, about the Yankees management or anything else, but please make sure to do so in an...

  3. Sticky Thread Sticky: If you're looking for Yankee tickets, check here first.

So you want to see the Yankees, ay? Are you frustrated by the lack of quality seats available from the Yankees Box Office or Ticketmaster, don't want to take out a second mortgage to buy from a broker, and don't trust buying from someone over the internet? If you answered yes to any of these questions (or even if you didn't!), I've got your solution! NYYFans.com has partnered with the Ticket Network to provide great seats for all budgets for every Yankee game (home or away). There is...

  3. Historic/Significant Games You've Attended

I've been thinking about the games that I've been to over the years and wanted to chronicle the ones that stood out in some way. I figured why not do it here and make it a fun exercise for others as well. List below the historic and/or significant games that you've been to over the course of your life as a Yankee fan. I know my list will pale in comparison to many, especially some of the old timers, but I think I've been pretty lucky over the years considering that I've never been a season...

  4. Rememberances of times past

I have always been a baseball fan from the time I can remember. I always will be. I accept the game that it is and I still love it. But I have to tell you how the game was when I was growing up. I was born in June 1938. Let me tell you about the 1950 season.. It consisted of two eight team leagues and a 154 game season. The Yankees in the AL and the Dodgers and Giants in the NL. The Yankees season opened on Tuesday April 18. The Yankees beat Boston 15-10 with Don Johnson with the...

  5. VividSeats and SeatGeek

I've bought tickets from Stubhub in the past and they are 100% reliable and guaranteed. I even had an issue one time while headed to the game and they corrected it instantly, on the fly. Was very impressed. However, I'm seeing much better deals for game 3 on VividSeats and SeatGeek. Are both as reliable and trustworthy as StubHub? Is one better or more recommended than the other? Are the fees similar to StubHub? Buying 3 tix and don't want to get ripped off or find out that my...

  7. Interesting Yankee News Items That Do Not Warrant Their Own Thread

Some items may be more interesting and/or useful than others. Just think "Seinfeld", as to the yadda-yadda part. A thread about nothing shall thus begin. http://www.nypost.com/p/blogs/yankeesblog/yankees_rivera_doesn_want_to_know_rUYALB8B50n209SPdNqfQI ^^ Mo makes to the call FROM the bullpen ... or so it seems. ^^

  9. Yankees 2017 Attendance

First Homestand completed 9 games with a total attendance of 321,928 with an average per game of 35,570 That average would be 2,897,352 for an 81 game season. April attendance is typically low so looks like 2017 attendance will not be below 3,000,000 High attendance was Opening Day 46,955 (2016 Opening Day was 47,820) Low attendance was Monday 4/17 vs White Sox 28,181 (2016 low was 27,532 on 9/6 vs Blue Jays and the April 2016 low was 30,003 on Thursday 4/7, which was the first...

  10. Downtown Manhattan Sports Bars to Watch Today's Playoff Game?

Does anyone have recommendations for a good sports bar in downtown Manhattan (financial district, or anywhere south of Canal St.) to watch today's playoff game? The 5:00PM game time is exactly when lots of New Yorkers would normally start their commute home, so hanging around after work at a sports bar would be a fun way to watch the game and not miss any of the action.

  13. Wildcard Game on Cablevision PSA

Just a PSA- thereís a really good chance cablevision will be losing ESPN (and ABC and Disney channels) tomorrow, just in time for the wild card game, which of course airs on ESPN. If this happens, PlayStation Vue, Directv Now and Sling TV all carry ESPN and all have free trials. Considering itís the only playoff game on ESPN, that trial should be sufficient. Just letting you know now so no one is freaking out on Tuesday...

Because its never too early to plan ahead... According to this article http://www.wralsportsfan.com/sabathia-stumbles-in-his-dl-return-blue-jays-top-yanks-4-1/16801619/ Doesnt make sense that the season opens on a thursday BUT Easter is Sun 4/1 so assuming that factors into it?

  15. Judge rookie card

I haven't bought a baseball card in nearly 10 years, but I gotta get a Judge one (he went to my school for crying out loud). Questions: 1. Which do I get? Don't want to spend a fortune. 2. Would having him sign it decrease its value? Thanks and GO YANKS!

  16. Audi Club

Can anyone tell me a little about how this works? Are there sections of the Stadium that give you access to the club? Is it worth it? For some reason, my wife would like to go to Yankee Stadium with myself our 3 grown sons and our daughter in law. My wife hates baseball (unlike the rest of us), but still wants to go to a game. She'd like access to a suite or a club or something (for when she gets bored).
