Meanwhile, Joey Chestnut's former rival, Japanese eating dynamo Takeru 'The Tsunami' Kobayashi won't be competing at Nathan's again due to his contract dispute with Major League Eating.

Well Takeru 'The Tsunami' Kobayashi did it to himself. He refused to sign an exclusive contract with Major League Eating claiming that it takes away his freedom.

Joey 'Jaws' Chestnut has done it again.

The San Jose, California native earned his sixth straight Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest win by devouring 68 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes, tying his mark he set last year.

That win ties Chestnut's rival, Takeru 'The Tsunami' Kobayashi, for the most titles at Nathan's with six a piece.

'Eater X' Tim Janus hauled in 52 while 'Deep Dish' Patrick Bertoletti ate 51.

In the women's competition, 'The Black Widow' Sonya Thomas wins the second straight women's title by beating her own record with 45 HDBs. Juliet Lee came in second with 33 HDBs.
