You think Jose Reyes on the free agent market is only going to get 3 years guaranteed? Wow, no way I agree with that and I don't care how many hamstrings he pulled the last couple of years. Somebody is going to give him more than 3 years especially with open bidding.

That's quite an impressive rotation you've got the Halos putting together. That'd be no fun.

I wonder how Tony LaRussa's retirement will affect Albert's contract decision.

I wonder how Tony LaRussa's retirement will affect Albert's contract decision.

I heard Matt Holliday answer this very question last night. He speculated it wouldn't matter, as Pujols would have expected that LaRussa would only be managing his first couple years of a 7/8/9 year contract anyway. That said, you'd have to imagine it would be hard for St. Louis to lose both of them after the WS win.

2. Prince Fielder - O's

I had to check if this was a Bobby Jr post....Fielder is not washed up, so there is no way the Orioles will sign him.

The O's probably wouldn't sign him, but they would definitely trade for him after he broke down during the contract.

My friend is a Marlins fan and he is sure they're going to sign him. Thats a shot in the dark, I just hate token guesses, like Pujols to the cards, reyes to the tigers, etc. I do feel like the Marlins will make some type of big move, they kind of have to since they got a new stadium and they've never payed their players the last ten years thanks to revenue sharing basically paying them. Hanley could slot into 3B from what I hear he hasn't been good at SS.

as for Fielder, I think he goes to the Jays but I went with the O's to not go with the crowd, actually I kind of feel like the O's could be the dark horse, like the Nats with Werth last year.

2. Prince Fielder - Blue Jays

I think they can benefit from him at 1B and then be able to DH him later in his career. 7yrs/$110 million gets it done
