Dang. He's done a hell of a job building a system with low draft picks. He deserves it if he gets the chance.

For his sake I hope he gets it. For the Yankees sake I'd love to keep him.

If he does get it I'd imagine/hope that Cashman has a plan in place to replace him.

Probably Towers to replace him. I could imagine George's reaction if he were still in charge. He'd have a statement for the D-Backs organization by now that would probably get him fined and/or suspended.
