One of the producers yelled "HA!" and they accidentally cut to commercial.

That was bush league.

I enjoyed their coverage of the pregame, but once the game started, they went back to their usual tendency of pissing me off.

Angered me! I was yelling about selling more ads and not showing the moment of the night. The lady downstairs probably thinks I am insane.

Lets not forget that Fox almost missed Carlos Guillen's leadoff double in extra innings. Would have been classic if the ball had gone over the wall and fox missed the whole thing.

It would have been a nice gesture to stick with the coverage while Mo took the mound and warmed up, but ... when have you ever seen a pitching change without a commercial break?

That's not the point. Any good producer should know BIG moments in a game. Another 10-15 seconds is all they would have needed and they blew it.

This is not the first big moment in baseball history. Have they ever honored the history of the game over a chance to make another few dollars?

They always go to commercial during pitcher changes. Always have, always will. You're arguing with the weather here. It's just how it is.

I'm a bit more upset when they return from a commercial break and I see a guy rounding first after hitting a big HR they cut back a few seconds too late to catch.

Missing a bit of enter sandman and Mo's walk in from the pen? That's no big deal.

They did far worse than cutting from Mo's entrance. At least they did some of that. They showed some stupid video package (including the starting lineup) TWICE to interrupt Jeter's ovations for his at-bats! I was beside myself!

Yeah, I was a bit surprised they went to commercial quite that quickly on Mo's entrance, but it's pretty standard and no big deal. It's when they return late that drives me nuts. I'd like to see a league put a clause in the contract forcing them to pay some kind of fee anytime they miss game action.

Haven't the FOX people heard the term, "There is an exception to every rule"? this would've been one of them......now the moment in history is all gone...

I still don't know why the Yankees keep playing 1 PM Saturday games.

Fox' blackouts of out of market games that are not going to be carried by local affiliates is extremely frustrating. A Yankees/Sox game gets blacked out and the slot gets filled with infomercials, so that later I can get the pleasure of watching the D'Backs take on the Pirates jammed down my throat. Thanks Fox!!

I still don't know why the Yankees keep playing 1 PM Saturday games.I'm wondering if Fox negotiated to get the marquee games in the daytime slots. Fox isn't dumb to want the games, but if they acquire exclusive rights to them air them!

Hell, why not work out something with EI and resell them to be aired out of market? Fans win, EI wins and Fox wins.

Another question... not that I'm a fan of commercials, but if it would control the costs of EI why don't they air their own commercials during the dead time between innings versus that stupid "Be Right Back" logo?

I pay 200 dollars a season to DirectTV for MLB extra innings. I shouldn't have to deal with blackouts.

It's MLB's (Bud Selig's) fault. They agreed to this ridiculous blackout rule that blacks out games played when Fox isn't even showing baseball, like today at 1pm. At the very most, the blackout should only apply during the time of the Fox baseball broadcast. It's asinine.

FOX doesn't air 1 PM games at all anymore, but they still have exclusive rights to them. Other teams, when they're not the FOX 4 PM game, schedule their Saturday games at night, so they're carried by EI. For some reason, the Yankees continue to schedule 1 PM Saturday games, when FOX doesn't carry them, and EI can't. If you check the MLB schedule every Saturday, the Yankees, when they're home, are almost always the only team playing a 1 PM game.

Didn't realize that with EI.

Strange they don't blackout MLB tv, but blackout EI.
