If this team does get it together in the 2nd half, they may be in the running for a setup

man to solidify the road to Mo. Brian Fuentes seems to be a hot number as many

teams are inquiring about him. How about we try and pry Myers from Philly to setup

for Mo. He failed this year as a SP but was lights out last year as a closer. What'd

you guys think about this potential move and what would it take to get him ? What

would we be willing to give up ?

Right now the bullpen is the least of this team's problems. And we still also have Bruney, Cox, and possibly Melancon on the way.

No thanks. I'd rather see one of the arms down in the farm get a shot before we tie ourselves up with another career National Leaguer.

Right now this team has probably the best bullpen in baseball. Bullpen should be the least of their worries.

If the price was really low, where it's basically just cash and no prospects, I'd take him and see if he can get it together as a starter. Otherwise he could be an option in the bullpen in the future (post-Farnsworth, Hawkins, etc.) and in case of injury.

Bullpen is really the least of our problems......

In terms of rotation......I almost would rather have McCutchen than Myers.

Or at least I think it would be close.
